July 21, 2000 Lee Chi Enterprises recently announced the sudden passing of the company's vice president, James Yang, at the age of 49. Mr. Yang worked with Lee Chi for 16 years, and was a valuable team player who contributed tremendously to the development and growth of the company, said a spokesperson for Lee Chi. Among Mr. Yang's most recent projects was the promotion and development of the company's operations in mainland China. He had also just accepted the additional position of president of the firm's mainland operation, Ever Glory Machinery. The company has not yet announced a successor to the long-time manager. J.R. Su and Peter Lai will handle Mr. Yang's duties in the interim. Mr. Yang will be greatly missed, noted the spokesperson. |
