To begin your search, click the "Search" button in the ePDA navigation bar, and then select one of the AsiaTradeMart communities from our list. You will be taken to the main search page of that community.

There are three convenient ways to search - by our efficiently organized product categories, by product keyword or by supplier name.

Searching by Product Category

If you are searching for a product and you already know its classification, simply make a selection from our product category list. You will then be provided with a more specific list of product subcategories. Each product subcategory details how many suppliers and product pictures are available online in that particular section.

Click on the number under "Suppliers" to see a list of companies offering products in your chosen subcategory. From there you can choose to view that list of suppliers by the products that they offer, or you can click on a company name to be taken directly to that supplier's company web page.

Click on the number under "Products" to see a list of all the products available in your chosen subcategory. From there you can either click on the products that you are interested in, or you can click on a company name to be taken directly to that supplier's company web page.

Search Tips for Product Keyword Searching

There are several advanced search instructions available for when you are searching by product keyword. They are the following:

• "AND" operator
  Example of search command entered: bicycle frame
  Using a space between two search words will return items that contain both of the words, such as bicycle and frame.
• "OR" operator
  Example of search command entered: bicycle,frame
  Using a comma between two words (but no space) will return items that contain either word, such as bicycle or frame.
• "Exact" operator
  Example of search command entered: "bicycle frame"
  Using quotes around a set of words will return items with the words in that exact sequence, such as "bicycle frame", not "frame bicycle".

Searching by Supplier Name

If you know the name of the supplier that you are looking for, simply enter the name in the search field, ensuring that the "Supplier" tab is highlighted, and then click "Search". All suppliers with that name or portion of a name will be listed, with Green and Standard level members appearing higher on the list than Basic level members.

The Bookmark function assists you in creating a list of your favorite products. You can use Bookmarks while you are browsing company web pages to effortlessly file away records of products of interest for easy later reference.

When you spot a product of interest in an online product catalogue, simply click on the product image to select it. Next, click on the "Bookmark" link at the top of the page. The item will immediately be added to your Bookmark list. Bookmarks can be displayed according to the AsiaTradeMart communities, or you can view them all at once by choosing "All" from the pull-down menu.

Bookmarks store the following information:

• Product category
• Product image
• Product name
• Model name
• Company name

Review a product. To review a product in your Bookmark list, simply click on the product image. You will be taken directly to the larger image of that product on the company's web page, where it lists further product specifications. Alternately, you can click on the company name to go to the supplier's company home page.

Inquiry function. To send an inquiry message to a supplier about one of the products in your Bookmark list, click the "Send Inquiry" icon next to that product listing. Your contact details and the product information for the item about which you are inquiring will automatically be filled in on the Inquiry Form. Add your own message to the supplier and your order specifications, and then click "Send Inquiry".

Delete Bookmarks. To delete a product Bookmark from your list, click on the trash can icon next to that product listing.

The Contact List is your personalized online database with which you can record important information on trading partners and business connections.

You can add company contact details conveniently and easily to your Contact List by clicking the "Add to Contact List" icon at the top of a supplier's home page.

The Contact List stores the following information:

• Company name
• Email address
• Telephone number

Company Home Page. You can use your Contact List to quickly access company home pages by clicking on the company name.

Email. To send an email message to a company in your Contact List, simply click on the email address section of that listing. This will link to your ePDA email account, where you can type and send the message.

Edit. Add extra information about a company to your Contact List by clicking on the "Edit" icon. You can use this function to record specific details about your interaction with each company in a special memo box.

Download. By clicking the green arrow icon in your Contact List, the "Download" function allows you to save that company's information to a local disk. From there it can easily be transferred to certain PDA machines.

Delete. The "Delete" function allows you to remove a company name from your Contact List by clicking on the trash can icon next to the company's name..

The Preferences function allows members to change their personal profiles. Preferences contains the following sections:

Network Details. Here you can change your password and hint question and answer.

Member Profile. Here you can change or update your contact details, such as telephone number, address, etc.

Email Signature. For convenience, we have added this section where you can create an email signature to be attached to all of your outgoing email messages. This section is linked to your web-based email account.

Other Settings. Here you can set your account to hide your Member Profile so that it will not automatically be attached to inquiry messages you send to suppliers when you use the "Inquire Now " function.
